Clymer Museum of Art/On the Road again

Got to the Blue Grouse for its usual good food, and there discovered a wonderful new art museum in Ellensberg. New for me that is. Anyway the museum features the work of John Clymer, a contemporary of Norman Rockwell's and has some stunningly beautiful scenery, many with historic figures researched by his wife. My favorites were two of his done on the theme of totem people "Little Frog" which is wonderfully sensual and chiascuro in tone, and "First Step", proving a baby is of universal interest.
